Maurie joined Aurora in late 2010. Maurie and Shane have worked together in different industries and companies for 10 years prior to partnering up in Aurora. When Shane was looking for someone to join and complement the Aurora team, Maurie was the obvious choice. Nothing gets past Maurie. His dedication to delivering the highest quality, and making sure not one detail is missed, ensures the best end result on every project.

Not only does he supervise and deliver projects, he enjoys a mentoring role for our site managers and younger staff – passing on his knowledge and leadership to others in the Aurora team.

Maurie has been managing construction projects for over 10 years. And it’s not just building fitouts. Before joining Aurora, Maurie transferred to Mobile Alabama to manage the fitouts of a 101m high-speed ferry and one of the world’s most technically advanced high-speed combat ships for the US Navy.
